What is Dorm Room Boxes?

Dorm Room Boxes is a student shipping and summer storage company. We pick up your items for storage right at your dorm, store them in our secured facility all summer long, and then delivery your items back to you before the start of your next semester.

What types of items can I store?

Customers are able to store almost anything with Dorm Room Boxes with a few exceptions. Dorm Room Boxes customers can store boxes of items, furniture, mini-fridges, bicycles, and much more. The few exceptions include jewelry, cash, liquids, chemicals (cleaning and otherwise), and perishable foods.

What services do you offer?

Dorm Room Boxes offers a simple solution to busy college students looking to find an easy, quick and safe way to move out of their dorm rooms and store their items over the summer or any other semester! We’ll pick up, store, and re-deliver your items for one low flat rate.

Where are your facilities located?

Dorm Room Boxes has storage facilities near each university we service. Your items will be picked up and transported to the closest facility servicing your university or college.

Are your facilities safe?

Dorm Room Boxes stores all of our clients’ belongings in our secured, climate controlled warehouses.

Are my items protected in case of damage or loss?

Yes! Dorm Room Boxes is fully insured to safe guard our clients from damage or loss of items. Each box we store is protected for up to $100.00 in value.

Can I buy additional protection?

Yes! Additional protection packages are available for purchase through Dorm Room Boxes.

I live off campus. Can I still use your services?

Yes! Dorm Room Boxes offers the same simple, quick, safe services to college students who live off campus. As long as your off-campus housing falls within our service radius for your specific campus, we can service you.

What if I am not able to be present for my pick-up or delivery?

Unfortunately, in order to offer your items the greatest possible protection customers MUST be present during their pick-up/delivery window. If you are not present and Dorm Room Boxes cannot reach you, your items will be returned to our warehouse and you will need to reschedule your pick-up or delivery.

Are there any hidden fees?

No! Dorm Room Boxes strides to ensure all of its pricing is up-front and easily understandable for all of its customers. Customers may encounter additional fees based on their items needing to be stored, additional insurance packages ordered, and additional materials purchased.

What types of payment does Dorm Room Boxes accept?

Dorm Room Boxes accepts payments in cash and on debit or credit cards. We are unable to accept personal checks.

Can I ship my items to places other than college campuses?

Yes! Dorm Room Boxes is capable of shipping your items from you dorm room back to your permanent address and anywhere else.

What if I need to cancel my service?

Things happen and sometimes our customers need to cancel their service with us mid-summer. That is fine, just contact our customer service department and they will take care of everything!

How quickly will my box package arrive to my dorm?

Dorm Room Boxes begins preparing your box package for shipment the day you make your order. Customers can expect to receive their box package with 1-3 business days from the time of purchase
